Restaurant Chains Environmental Policy Question 7
Does the brand have an environmental policy for the staple foods such as rice, grain, corn or potatoes?
The brand will receive a yes when the company purchases organic or otherwise certified vegetables and/or fruit - such as GlobalG.A.P. - for a substantial part. At the moment 'substantial' is not yet translated in to a minimum percentage number, as best practices in the sector do not allow this yet. During the course the criteria may get more tight as best practices improve.
